TENNIS LOSES AT MCPHERSON

MCPHERSON, Kan. – Back-to-back days and three duals in the last four days may have caught up to Avila tennis on Tuesday as both Eagle programs were swept by McPherson.

In #2 men's doubles, Tristan Houchin and Hayden Carillo played tough, losing 6-4, while in #1 singles, Axel Scott went to three sets, losing 6-4, 3-6, 2-6.

Dealing with a smaller roster, the Eagle women battled throughout the dual on Tuesday and got a pair of competitive singles matches at #1 and #3 with Dani Jean-Louis falling 1-6, 3-6 and Alaeyah Chleborad losing 3-6, 1-6.

Both programs are back in action on Thursday afternoon, traveling to Westminster College before wrapping up the regular season on Saturday at home versus Sterling at 1 PM.
