WOMEN'S WRESTLING HAS BIG SENIOR NIGHT VS. FRIENDS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On a night to honor its seniors, Avila women's wrestling faced Friends on Senior Night at Mabee Fieldhouse on Friday evening.

A close dual, which was impacted by three opens from Avila and two from Friends had an effect on the final score.

Two of the first three matches of the evening went Avila's way as No. 18 Alexis Hatifeld (103) and Audrina Houston (117) each won their matches via fall.

Avila's senior, Markayla Lottie (124), was unable to face an opponent for Friends, so she picked up five points for the Eagles, as did Chloe Taylor (131).

The Eagles have a quick turnaround, facing Ottawa on Tuesday evening.
