TENNIS FALLS IN TOUGH TEST AT SAINT MARY

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – Avila men's and women's tennis faced another tough test on Monday afternoon at Saint Mary, with the men losing 7-0 to the Spires and the women falling 6-1.

The highlights of the duals came from the #1 doubles team of Dani Jean-Louise and Emma Koenigseder, 6-4.

Additionally, Alaeyah Chleborad won in #3 singles, 5-7, 6-3, 10-6.

Although they didn't count towards the overall score, the men won all three exhibition matches played at the conclusion of the competition. 

The two teams will hit the road again on Tuesday, traveling to McPherson at 2 PM.
