MEN’S VOLLEYBALL FALLS AT ROCKHURST

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Avila men's volleyball made the short trek north to Rockhurst on Tuesday night, falling to the Hawks in three sets.

Playing a large opponent is always a difficult task, but Mekenna Clugston's young squad continued to grow in the learning experience.

Rockhurst took the first two sets by 25-10 scores. It was the third set where Avila played tough.

The Eagles kept it within two for the early part of the set. Rockhurst went on a run and stretched their lead to take control of the match.

Avila kept it close for the remainder of the set, falling 25-16. 

Continuing to grow as a re-started program, Avila will host Southwest Baptist for a pair of games this weekend, beginning on Friday at 6 PM, following by a 12 PM first serve on Saturday.
