FULTON, Mo. – With just two matches remaining in the regular season, Avila men's tennis picked up a big win over Westminster College on Thursday, 7-0. Additionally, the women's program won all four matches played, but fell 4-3 due to small roster size.

The men swept #1 and #2 doubles with the Brendan Honn/Ben Drinkwater and Dom Lunn/Aidan Vandergrift both winning 6-0.

In singles, Drinkwater (#2) and Drue Coen (#3) each swept 6-0, 6-0.

Will Day picked up a big win at #6, 6-0, 6-1 as did Jayden Henderson at #5 with a 6-1, 6-1 victory.

At #1 singles, Honn won 6-1, 1-6, 10-4.

For the women, the dominating doubles pair of Dani Jean-Louise and Emma Koenigseder won 6-1 at #1 doubles.

Jean-Louise swept her #1 singles match 6-0, 6-0.

Avila also got wins at #2 singles from Koenigseder (6-1, 6-4) and Alaeyah Chleborad at #3 (6-2, 6-0).

The Eagles will wrap up their regular season on Saturday at 1 PM versus Sterling at the Plaza Tennis Center.
