MEN’S SOCCER WRAPS UP SEASON WITH LOSS AT KANSAS WESLEYAN

SALINA, Kan. – Avila men's soccer wrapped up the 2025 season with a 7-0 loss at Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday evening. Avila's five wins on the season were its highest single-season total since 2017.

Kansas Wesleyan would pick up a pair of first-half goals from penalty kicks with two more goals on either side.

The Coyotes entered halftime leading 4-0.

Three more goals came from Kansas Wesleyan in the second half and the Coyotes took the KCAC finale, 7-0.

KWU dominated on the attacking end, outshooting Avila 27-1 and attempting six corner kicks without getting an attempt.

Robert Kelly and his staff will be busy this offseason, with eight seniors on the Avila roster, Kelly's sixth season at the helm in 2026 has plenty of momentum to build on.
