BOWLING CONTINUES TO BUILD AFTER JAYHAWK COLLEGIATE CHALLENGE
LAWRENCE, Kan. – After producing their best showing in a Tier I event in program history last week, Avila bowling was back in action on the other side of the state line at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge this weekend.
Avila women finished No. 6 in the competition with an overall total of 6,797, while the men finished No. 11 with an overall total of 6,459.
The Eagle women improved in Day 2 after an eighth place finish on Saturday. After 16 Baker games on Sunday, Avila was able to move into their final sixth-place spot. Avila's men's' program moved up one spot following Day 1 on Saturday.
Both programs will travel next to Bellevue, Ill., on Nov. 23 and 24 for McKendree Matchplay.
