CHEER TAKES TWO FIRSTS AT COUGAR CLASSIC

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Producing their best result of the young 2026 season, Avila cheer took first place at the Cougar Classic on Saturday.

Setting a new program record with a 90.08 first-round score, the Eagles took first in the first round, more than 11 points ahead of the second-place finishers in the All-Girl division.

Avila came back in the second round with another dominating performance, taking first with a round-two score of 87.18. 

The Eagles will now turn their attention to their home gym, hosting the Eagle Invite at Mabee Fieldhouse on March 1 at 11 AM.
