NSCA ANNOUNCES OWENS AND SCHRANZ RECEIVE THE 2026 ALL-AMERICAN ATHLETE AWARD

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is proud to announce Avila women’s volleyball’s Sydney Owens and baseball’s Cashen Schranz as a 2026 All-American Athlete Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year Award recipient. This award recognizes Owens and Schranz’s athletic accomplishments and their dedication to strength and conditioning. Nominated by Avila Assistant Athletic Director/Strength and Conditioning Coach Brian Ciolek, Owens and Schranz’s determination to improve in athletics while maintaining academic prominence is a great model for all student-athletes at Avila University.
